Dr Francesca Cavalieri received her Laurea degree, ‘maxima cum laude,’ in Industrial Chemistry in 1995 from the University of Rome La Sapienza. She completed her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Melbourne in 2014. She has been a tenured Agg/Professor in Polymer Science at the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ since 2002. She was awarded the ARC Future Fellowship at the University of Melbourne in 2015. She is currently appointed as VC Senior Fellow at RMIT University, Australia.
