Amparo Alonso-Betanzos is Professor at the University of A Coruña, affiliated researcher of the Centre for Information and Communications Technology Research (CITIC), and Coordinator of the LIDIA group. Professor Alonso-Betanzos is a Senior IEEE member, ACM member, and President of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence (AEPIA). Professor Alonso-Betanos has supervised and participated in more than 35 funded research projects including European, international, national, as well as contracts with industry and private companies. She has published more than 100 journal articles and more than 170 articles at international conferences and supervised 10 PhD thesis.
