Professor John Fien

John Fien is a Professor of Practice at RMIT University and teaches courses on urban resilience, disaster risk reduction, and resettlement and reconstruction. He has been a consultant for UNEP, UNICEF, UNESCO, WWF, OECD and the World Bank. He has successfully supervised 34 PhD student and 82 masters, and is currently supervising 5 PhD projects. He has research income of €4,880,000 and 120 publications. He has 7490 citations and an h-index of 41. ORCID: 0000-0003-2688-4337.
