Professor Carston Braun has been a Full Professor for Aircraft Engineering at FH Aachen University since 2013. He received his degree in Aerospace Engineering (Aachen University) in 2000 and then worked at Aachen University as a Research assistant and Doctoral candidate. His research interests include: Numerical Aeroelasticity, loads and aeroelasticity and airframe design. His industry experience includes serving as a Systems Engineer for Lufthansa Technik (2007-2010), as well as in Maintenance of Aircraft Structures, Structural Health Monitoring (2010-2012) and as a Development Engineer for Airbus Defence and Space (formerly Cassidian).
