Associate Professor at the University of A Coruña, Professor Díaz-Casas holds a MSc and PhD in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture. He has been the Coordinator of the MSc on Marine Eng. and Naval Architecture at the University of A Coruña and the Deputy Director of International Relationships since 2017. His research interests include IA in ship design and marine systems (52 papers in Scopus; 563 citations; h-index = 11). He is the main researcher in the UDC of the EU project MATES (Erasmus and Sector Skills Alliances, 2018 – 2021).
