Dr Fabio Pavanello is a French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) researcher at L’École Centrale de Lyon’s Institut des Nanotechnologies de Lyon (INL) where he leads the Nanophotonic Systems activity. He has ten years of experience in the optoelectronic field. He received his B.Sc./M.Sc. from Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and his Ph.D. from University of Lille (France). Prior to joining CNRS in 2019, he held research positions at University of Colorado (DARPA project POEM) and UGent/IMEC (H2020 project MIRPHAB). He has co-authored more than 70 papers, one book chapter, and holds one patent.
