Mateus is a PhD student at both École Centrale de Lyon and RMIT University, researching about large-application of Photonics Convolutional Neural Networks. A physics engineer, he graduated from UFRGS with solid foundations in mathematics, physics and engineering solutions. During graduation, Mateus worked forjust under two years with superhydrophobic nanoparticles and developed an RPA algorithm for XAS deglitching as his final thesis project. Mateus has alsowork for 2 years as a data scientist.
