Pierre-François Brevet is Professor of Physics and head of the research group ONLI at University Lyon 1 since 2000. He has obtained a PhD in Molecular Physics in 1988 followed by a Post-Doc at University of Edinburgh in Cluster Physics before moving to the EPFL in Switzerland for 8 years where he has developed a line of research on the Second Harmonic Generation of electrified interfaces, including liquid-liquid interfaces. He has supervised about 15 PhD students and several post-docs.
